Kabu Creative is a small, focused UX and product consultancy working with engineering teams building technical products and infrastructure.
We've spent over a decade doing the full range of that work (user research, interface design, UX audits, and front-end implementation) on products used by millions of developers worldwide.
Where we started
Kabu launched in July 2012, initially building websites for small businesses. That work quickly evolved into full web application development, including BPCLEtool, a tool for the Department of Health (Victoria, Australia) that helped health organisations deliver better clinical education to students in training.
In July 2015, we began working on Warehouse, the project that would become the new PyPI. The business pivoted to focus specifically on developer tools.
Over the intervening years, we've been privileged to work on some of the most widely used developer infrastructure in the world.
